India bans 59 Chinese apps including TikTok, ShareIt, Helo

The government ordered that 59 Chinese apps have banned in India. Action is taken as prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of the Indian people and security of India and public order.

This order has been taken on this Monday and decided to ban at least 59 Chinese apps. The list of these Chinese mobile apps are Tiktok, ShareIt, UC Browsers, Baidu Map, Helo, Weibo, Xender, MiVideo Call, Clean Master, CamScanner, UC News, WeChat, Club Factory, Meitu and So on.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology issued an order that 59 apps have been banned by the Indian Government.

Why Need to ban these Chinese Apps -

A couple of years back, India has planned as a leading in the technology and in digital space. At the same time, there are many concerns and issues faced for taking the security threat to the sovereignty and security of our nation. The ministry of information technology has received many of the complaints from leading sources and got various reports about the wrong use of some apps available on Android and Apple Platforms. like stealing and transmitting some data by the unauthorized servers which are outside India. These methods of crime data, hustle to the national security and disturbing the defense of India. So, ban those apps are very appropriate action taken by the Indian government, needs to follow Indian citizens.

To stop these malicious apps, the Indian Cyber Crime Centre and Ministry of Home Affairs have been sent the recommendation letter for blocking. The ministry also received many reports and representations concerns from the Indian citizens regarding the risk of using these apps and how security happens in danger while using these apps. Same as The Computer Emergency Response Team also got many mails and representations from the common peoples, who are representing the concerns about the security.

Overall, based on these representations and right inputs that such of these apps are treat to sovereignty and integrity of India, after considering the Indian Government took discussion for removing and Boycott to use these Chinese apps.
